Francesca was born in Rome in 1979 from a family of musicians and producers; she grew up among artists of the 70’s creative scene. After a first season as a singer and pianist, she fell in love with Theatre and Cinema. After graduating in Disciplines of Art, Music and Entertainment (UniRoma3), she began working at the production of TV series and commercials. In 2008 she moved to Barcelona, and in 2010 co-founded Prometeo Films in Madrid. She is a producer, director and editor of short films, video clips, documentaries and web series.
Francesca also creates content for major brands such as Maserati and Yoplait for digital TV and streaming channels. She currently lives between Rome, Barcelona and São Paulo. Influenced by African-American and Amazonian mythological and ancestral legends, as well as by urban artistic trends, from graffiti to rave parties, she blends the mix of these elements with the interactive participation of the public, beginning as VJ and now focussing on the development of live performance work while continuing her activity as a filmmaker.
